Guitar Lessons

So for those of you in the Troy, Michigan area interested in learning guitar, I’ve decided to start offering lessons. I’ll be offering private guitar lessons in my area, so If you’re interested, contact “morgajel” via gtalk/aol/yahooIM or gmail and we’ll see what we can work out.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • I play rhythm guitar, so don’t expect me to teach you how to be a guitar god- my fat, stubby fingers do not lend themselves well to being a fast soloist.
  • I don’t like to drive, so sessions will need to remain relatively local (foodcourt of oakland mall is looking like a possible location for first classes, however I’m open to suggestions).
  • I only teach beginner courses. See below for curriculum.

Credentials

I’ve been playing guitar for 10 years… That’s about it. I’ve not been in a band, and I’ve not had formal instruction outside of 6th grade band (and played drums at that).
